What file formats does One Step accept?

For highest project quality it is preferred that you submit files as press ready PDF files.

The One Step Art Department supports Adobe Creative Suite CC (Creative Cloud) files (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop). Microsoft Word, Publisher CorelDraw and Quark files must be converted to press ready PDFs to be submitted.

If sending PDF or EPS files please embed all images and convert all typefaces to outlines.  If you wish to send native InDesign files, please use the “Package” feature to ensure all fonts and images are sent as well as the .indd file. If sending native Illustrator files, be certain to embed all links and send the typefaces or convert them to outlines. If sending native Photoshop files please keep files as layers and send the fonts or rasterize the type.

All images included need to have a resolution of 300 pixels per inch at the final size they are to be used. All artwork should be sent as either CMYK or Pantone spot colors, depending on the desired final output. Low resolution, RGB files are not accepted.

What is “vector” art?

Vector art is created using vector illustration software programs, such as Adobe Illustrator.  These programs use mathematic equations and geometric primitives (points, lines, and shapes) to create art that is clean, camera ready, and can be scaled infinitely, without any loss of quality or fidelity.

Issues with the art you submit?

If there is an issue with your art, our graphics department will contact you to help find the best solution!
